Gearbox guarantees the security of your media. The way we do this is if there is a problem from capture to delivery we will recognize it immediately, communicate with the client and handle the problem, period. We use a consistently redundant system to always create a backup as soon as the media is ingested into the field edit system. The workflow looks like this: The camera aquires the footage in the field to media card, onboard hard drive or to an on site edit system. As soon as the card or hard drive is full, it is given to our specialist and immediately swapped for an empty one. The full hard drive or card is ingested into our edit system located on site to be logged and transferred to a primary drive and a backup. The MMM specialist holds on to the primary drive and the client takes the backup.
